Lowering your Cable Bill: Eliminate your Cable TV Bill!
Do you remember those Old School TV Antenna? Well they are still around in today’s high tech market. With cable TV bills hitting well over $100 a month, an antenna can eliminate your cable bill all together. There are many different kinds of Antenna’s out there, along with HDTV antenna’s and it really depends on the current TV system setup, so I recommend going to Radio Shack, they are knowledgeable and sell various TV antenna’s. In my not so high tech description, antenna’s pic up cable frequency’s, just like your computer does to get wireless Internet. I have a flat screen TV that acts like a computer and tunes in and grabs cable signals, but I am as happy as can be doing without a cable bill myself. By doing this, I get all the basic channels and some. My family is not a big TV watcher, so this meets our needs perfectly.
We also watch most of our TV shows we follow online, and that way we can watch it when we want.
ABC and NBC are some of the TV companies that you can actually watch whole episodes online, or you can find just about everything at HULU.com for free. We then have a special cable that connects our laptop into our big screen.
If you don’t mind going without the 200+ TV channels, it may be worth it to you to look into some of these options so you can ditch your Cable TV bill altogether!
